Our Director of Cardiology Program, Prof. Dr. Nauman Naseer, recently served as a facilitator and keynote speaker at the Helping Hearts program (by Hoescht) in Sweden which focuses on complex coronary and structural heart interventions through a combination of didactic teaching and simulation-based training .
During the event, Prof. Naseer delivered expert lectures and provided hands-on training focusing on:
- The management of bifurcation lesions
- Advanced coronary imaging
- Cardiovascular physiology
This year’s program was conducted in collaboration with Life Sciences in Gothenburg, Sweden, following last year’s initiative successful program at King’s College London. This kind of interaction and focus is often missed in larger meetings , and indeed this workshop provides an excellent educational platform. The “Train-the-Trainer” initiative continues to strengthen faculty development and advance cardiovascular education across Pakistan .
